Maida /All purpose flour - 2 cups
Yoghurt/Curd - 2 tbsp
Baking soda - a pinch
Salt to taste
Make a smooth dough with the above ingredients adding water as required. Allow the dough to ferment for 8 hours or so.
Shape them into round balls and roll them into an even round shape. Do not roll them too thin else the baturas will not
Heat a kadai/pan with oil and deep fry the rolled out baturas one by one till they puff up. Drain and remove from pan.
